J & P National Youth Empowerment Network, NFP was proud to partner with Chicago Youth Centers for the “Meet Me on the Block” Urban Block Party in North Lawndale.
The event brought residents, families, youth, community partners, and local organizations together for an evening filled with free food, music, vendors, activities, resources, and fellowship. It was wonderful to see neighbors connecting, children having fun, and community organizations working together to support North Lawndale residents.
We extend our sincere appreciation to Chicago Youth Centers, the Chicago Fund for Safe and Peaceful Communities, Northwestern Medicine, GRO Community, Ghoutstanding Youth, our vendors, volunteers, and everyone who helped make the event a success.
Thank you to the North Lawndale community for coming out and celebrating with us. This is what community partnership looks like!
